Her work tends to show strands of realism brushstroked with expressionism, the vibrance and drama alternately representing either the real or abstractness of the theme. Marianne’s specialties include residential, historical and commercial architecture, yet her landscapes and still lifes are also her forte.

She is constantly attending classes and workshops to experiment and challenge herself with new topics and techniques. Her favorite works are the unusual compositions, atypical color mixes and non-traditional subjects. Unfamiliar close ups of otherwise common items, wildly-hued depictions of recognizable objects, and industrial-themed settings fulfill a personal inner sense of her art.

Marianne attended West Virginia University, Ohio State University and the University of Houston. She has studied art at the Torpedo Factory in AlexandrMarianneia, Virginia and the Art Leagues of Oreland, Doylestown and Norristown, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, James Michener Art Museum as wella Oreland, Doylestown and Norristown Art Leagues. She has studied under Gwen Bragg, Howard Watson, Milli Pryor, Connie Marino, Jo Ann Cooksey-Bono.
